A full, Jira-class agile suite built into Versus Desk — and wired straight into the automation engine, so an issue can launch a real network change.
Versus Desk includes a complete agile project-management suite under the Agile menu: projects, scrum and kanban boards, backlog and sprint planning, a Gantt timeline, delivery reports, a VQL issue navigator, cross-project plans, and live dashboards. Unlike a stand-alone tracker, it runs inside the same platform as your network automation — so an issue event can trigger a real Versus workflow, and a dashboard can show live device status next to sprint metrics.
Each project (NET, SEC, CLD in the demo) has its own board, workflow, backlog, components, and releases, and its own issue-key sequence. Open a project to reach its Summary, Timeline, Backlog, Board, Issues, Reports, Releases, Components, and Settings.
Scrum or kanban boards lay the active sprint out in columns (To Do, In Progress, In Review, Done) with optional WIP limits, and in swimlanes by epic. Cards carry story points, priority, labels, and assignee; drag a card between columns to transition the issue. Quick filters, an assignee filter, and a per-column Insights (aging) view are built in.
Plan from the backlog: drag issues into a sprint, set the goal and duration, and start it; story-point estimates roll up per sprint. Complete a sprint and choose where incomplete work moves. Closed sprints feed the velocity and burndown reports.
The Timeline is a road map — epics and their children as a Gantt with sprint bands and dependency links; drag a bar to reschedule and Versus flags scheduling conflicts. Reportscover velocity, sprint burndown, status distribution, issues by type, cumulative flow, and created-versus-resolved — all computed live.
The issue navigator searches with VQL, e.g. project = NET AND status != Done ORDER BY priority. Plans give a cross-project portfolio timeline plus a capacity view of in-flight story points per engineer.
An automation rule fires on an issue event (created, transitioned, commented, or on a schedule), matches a VQL filter, and runs an action — launch a real Versus orchestration workflow, set a field, add a comment, transition, or assign. Moving a story into progress can launch the deploy workflow that fulfils it, and when that workflow finishes the card advances itself. The ticket triggers the automation that fulfils it.
Compose gadgets from live issue data — counts, lists, and charts — plus the differentiator: a live card that resolves a real device, virtual server, or workflow run to its current status, right beside your sprint metrics.
